Protecting the wildlife of Lac Alaotra

and leading the conservation of the critically endangered Lac Alaotra bamboo lemurs

Locals supporting lemurs

We are a locally-led conservation organization in Lake Alaotra, the center of Madagascar’s most important rice-growing region.  We run a variety of programs, from direct conservation work, patrols, environmental education, research, and sustainable development.

Saving the Lac Alaotra bamboo lemurs

With only x number of Lac Alaotra bamboo lemurs remaining in the world, they need our protection more than ever.  We are the main organization working to protect these lemurs from extinction.  Faucibus a pellentesque sit amet porttitor.
